Dear Valued Patient,
In this busy season, I want to share some important news with you. After many enjoyable years helping patients, I will be retiring from Mid America Eye Center on March 18, 2026, and am looking forward to the next stage of my life.
I joined Mid America Eye Center in 1991 after serving as a full-time faculty member of the University of Kansas Department of Ophthalmology. We moved to our current Prairie Village location in 2000 and opened the Physicians Surgery Center.
My associate, Dr. Neal Troyer, will continue to see patients, and other ophthalmologists are available at our current office. You do not need to take any action at this time, and appointments will continue to be scheduled through our office as usual. Your medical records will remain securely maintained at Mid America Eye Center and our staff will strive to provide you with seamless care.
It has truly been a privilege to help you with your eye care, and I value your trust in me and my staff in allowing us to be a part of your life.
