After many years of caring for patients throughout the Kansas City community, Dr. Unterman has retired from practice. We are grateful for the care and commitment he has shown to his patients over the years and wish him all the best in retirement.
Following Dr. Unterman’s retirement, patient support, care coordination, and the transfer of medical records have transitioned to Heart of America Eye Care, the sister practice of Mid-America Eye Center. As part of this transition, patients will continue to have the support of familiar faces like Jade and fellow team members of Heart of America Eye Care, who are here to help.
Jade will be coordinating assistance with appointment questions and medical records requests and helping connect patients with the information and resources they need moving forward. We are especially grateful for her dedication and the compassionate support she provides to patients and other team members every day.
